Brotherhood Spotlight

Luke (Pomie) Pomez

Hello all! This is Jacob Hypke with this week's Brotherhood Spotlight is Luke Pomes! (Pomie)

Year: Sophomore

Hometown: Frankfurt

Major: Computer Information Systems

Q: Why did you join LCA?

A: As a Freshman, I was told different things about Greek life and was hesitant about rushing. Once I went through the process, I met a lot of people from different fraternities. Out of them Lambda really stuck out to me. They weren't like the rest, so I decided to go through.

Q: What is your favorite Lambda Chi Alpha memory so far?

A: My favorite Lambda memory is initiation. I wasn't sure what to expect coming out of this. It was definitely a surprise to me but looking back on it, it was a good experience. Being able to go through it with the AM class I came up with is somewhat of a core memory.

Q: What are you involved in on campus at Bradley?

A: As of now, I am mainly involved in Lambda being the treasurer. This experience is a step up from being a member to having more responsibilities in the fraternity.

Q: What are your future goals and aspirations?

A: My future goals are to double-major with degrees in Computer Information Systems and Management Information Systems.

Q: What is something that makes you smile?

A: I would say my family makes me smile; being able to spend time with them and make memories over time, Going home for breaks from school makes me realize that the time I get with them now is more special.

Q: What is your go-to karaoke song?

A: My go-to karaoke song is Don't Stop Believin' by Journey. Growing up, I often listened to this song and would listen to Journey on my MP3 player. This song always stuck out to me and is still a song that I will always sing.

Q: If you could choose one superpower to have, what would it be?

A: My superpower that I would choose is teleportation. If I wanted to go somewhere it would only take one second to get there. I would never be late to class again. Also, there would be no need for a car or gas money which would save a lot. Most importantly I could travel to different places around the world that I never thought I would go to.
