Brotherhood Spotlight

Cody Evans

Hello all! This is Jacob Hypke with this week's Brotherhood Spotlight is Cody Evans!

Year: Freshman

Hometown: Oak Forest

Major: Mechanical Engineering

Q: Why did you join LCA?

A: I joined Lambda Chi Alpha because of the quality that it held. That went from the group of brothers to the respect and kindness that they showed. One of the first reasons for joining was because of Tyler Mickelsen who helped me choose what major I wanted to be while in high school, after finding out what fraternity he was in I checked it out and was introduced to the guys.

Q: What is your favorite Lambda Chi Alpha memory so far?

A: Currently my favorite memory would have to be during one of my events during fall rush. We were in the inflatable balls playing soccer, we pretty much were just tackling one another. I was running full speed at Mark Arroyo and took him out. After that I needed a break to catch my breath from laughing so hard.

Q: What are you involved in on campus at Bradley?

A: I am involved in the intramural sports that go on through the year, mainly volleyball and basketball. In the future I plan on looking into more clubs to further my college experience.

Q: What are your future goals and aspirations?

A: The biggest goals and aspirations I have currently are to pass all my classes and get an internship while I spend my time at Bradley. Being able to do this and also have the "college experience" would be my biggest goal.

Q: What is something that makes you smile?

A: Something that really makes me smile is seeing my family and spending time with them. Every time I go home for break I always end up spending time with my family and grandparents, because of this the time flies by, but it is completely worth it.

Q: What is your go-to karaoke song?

A: Hands down the best Karaoke song, "Pocketful of Sunshine".

Q: If you could choose one superpower to have, what would it be?

A: The superpower I would choose would have to be super speed. Too much time is wasted on waiting and sitting around. Plus I might be able to pull off a Robinhood.
